This month, Pioneer have released two brand new high end AV Receiver models - SC-LX904 and SC-LX704. Both models come after the successful release of EISA Award winning Universal Disc Player, UDP-LX500, which is ideally the best complimentary product for those who want to get the absolute best out of their home theatre. Both new LX AV Receiver models are equipped with the 6th generation of Pioneer’s unique Direct Energy HD Amplifier technology, making them worthy of being your home cinema’s centerpiece.
Both new models are well equipped to let their user easily enjoy high quality audio reproduction with ease. Thanks to Pioneer’s dual ES9026PRO DACs, as well as MCACC Pro Auto Room Tuning technology to bring the best 3D surround sound of IMAX Enhanced audio. The SCLX704 and SCLX904 feature powerful multi-channel amplification of 215W x 11 ch (LX904) and 205W x 9 ch (LX704), measured @ 6 ohms, 1 kHz, THD 1 %, 1ch driven. Conveniently, Pioneer have included IMAX Enhanced audio on-board which certifies delivery of an incredibly immersive sound experience. Both Receivers come equipped with 7 HDMI ports (6 in, 3 out) which all support 4K (60p/4:4:4/24-bit) playback, 2 Subwoofer pre-outs for exceptional bass at different volume levels, and you can even view your content in the latest video standards like HDR10 (pass through), HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), and Dolby Vision.
Support for Hi-Res Audio playback is no issue with either of these new LX AV Receiver models, simply stream via Network connection or USB input. Along with Hi-Res audio playback, the SCLX704 and SCLX904 also work with SONOS, Apple AirPlay 2, Alexa, Google Assistant and multiple online Music-Streaming services like TIDAL, Spotify, and Deezer. So, you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to your home network features, audio listening has never been so inclusive.
Pioneer have even included two brand new features across both AV Receivers to increase your audio and visual experience. The new ‘Audio Exclusive Mode’ and ‘AV Direct Mode’ let the user enjoy detailed sound by turning off the unused functions that may affect the quality of sound reproduction. With ‘Audio Exclusive Mode’, the HDMI video signal is turned off, so you can enjoy detailed sound without interference from video signals. In ‘AV Direct Mode’, all network functionality is turned off, this benefits both audio and video playback quality by suppressing digital noise within the AV Receiver.
Both new models will be available for purchase within Australia this November (2019), exclusively stocked at specialist HiFi stores and/or LX dealers. Visit pioneeraudio.com.au or powermove.com.au for further information.

When most people think of loud workspaces, they envision roaring chainsaws, bellowing vehicle engines and blaring music at nightclubs. But as many office workers can attest, traditionally “quiet” work environments can be just as noisy—particularly when thin walls or obnoxiously chatty coworkers are thrown into the mix. In fact, even getting to work can be [...]
